Mondo Lingua: The Project's Origins

We are well aware of the importance that the internet has acquired both as a communication tool and as a means of sharing information. It is because of this that we have expressed our desire to support those who are fighting for a better world and and fighting to help others, using new technology and our specialist services - translation and localisation.

The project offers NGOs, charities, foundations and non-profit organisations web page localisation and translation services free of charge.

By translating their web page, these bodies are able to greatly widen their audience, across a host of countries and languages. We consider of the utmost importance our ability to provide access to greater numbers of contributors to causes. People who raise awareness and struggle to gain respect for the planet and its inhabitants.

Our volunteer translators are, without doubt, the bedrock of this project. Enthusiastic and altruistic, they help us offer our services to a diverse range of organisations, and translate their web sites from languages such as Spanish, English, German, French, Italian and many more.

And so, our task is to act as intermediaries between organisations and our volunteer translators. We work with our volunteers with the goal of obtaining the best result possible for, and to ensure the satisfaction of, all of the organisations who choose to put their trust in us.
