About Us

The Mondo Lingua Initiative is made up of a large number of volunteers as well as members of the Mondo Services translation agency team (employees, interns and external collaborators) who control and coordinate everything. We also rely on a number of companies who sponsor the project.
They are, for want of better words, everyday folk with a desire to do something for others.

Just as Mondo Services sets out to offer consistent, professional work, we too at Mondo Lingua want to do the same. We do, however, have to take in to account that the services we offer are done so free of charge or at very low cost and, as such, do not carry any type of guarantee.

Mondo Services and Mondo Lingua: What's the Connection?

Mondo Services Translation Agency SL is a for-profit company; Mondo Lingua, a non-profit initiative.
Mondo Lingua is an initiative independent of Mondo Services. It originated from a project started by the company and continues to work closely with it.

Mondo Services has made its offices and materials available to the Mondo Lingua initiative. It has also allowed its employees to contribute a portion of their time towards working on it. This generosity is reciprocated by Mondo Lingua by making the translation agency more popular.

Our Motivation

Naturally, an initiative such as this is not created to fill anyone's pockets or to make anyone more powerful. So, why has it been created? Could it be that humankind is, in fact, kind? Whilst we do not believe we can wholeheartedly assert this as a statement of fact, perhaps the most simple response is the following: We set up this initiative because we enjoy our work; because we want to be part of an entity that functions well, and because we want to do something that makes us feel good by doing something for others.
